How does the /tellraw command work?
The /tellraw command writes chat messages using the Minecraft JSON text component format: an array of parts, each with its own text, color and formatting. It is the same format used by /title, written books and command signs.
With this generator you never write JSON by hand: compose the parts visually, watch the preview and copy the finished command into your server console, a command block or your plugin config.
